Our passion and purpose is preserving this momentary glimpse in time for parents with tender and artistic portraits of their growing family. With each new baby, we strive to capture the dream-like essence of this season to be treasured for generations.
We have had the honor of working with hundreds of satisfied clients who return again and again to include the finest Military Chiefs, Captains, Seargants and many Medical & Law Professionals.
Rita's photographic experience has traveled the nation as her husband has served our country in the US Navy for more than two decades. They are blessed with two beautiful daughters age four and one, each of whom were born premature providing unique newborn experiences that always overflow into her ability to relate to her clients.
For over two decades Rita has grown in the field of photography, coming to specialize in this magical season of pregnancy and baby's first year. The personal journey with infertility she and her husband have overcome allows a unique view of what a blessing and miracle it is to bring home a new life. Witnessing all of the surreal moments of welcoming this blessing, being entrusted with their care, and watching them learn and grow are unlike any other...so very magical.

Bitsy Baby Photography serves families along the East Coast, Washington DC, and throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel County and Baltimore County and at the quant and private cottage studio in Edgewater, MD. We also serve families in the Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Newport News areas for non professional photography training.
We have traveled nationally photographing our first year baby famlies throughout Texas, Arizona, Hawaii and even worldwide into South America.
The studio employs a team of professionals:
- Shannon is our maternity and baby milestone expert, she also offers lifestlye In Home Newborn Photography in and around the Baltimore, MD area. Read her bio HERE.
- April is our newborn in studio expert, has an eye for the tiniest of those toe and finger details and only provides perfection.
- Calie is our office coordinator and keeps our client correspondance and studio back end running smoothlly.
- Then we have a whole team of photoshop professionals who all work together to provide the fine tuning and custom processing we provide for every single image you will receive.
- Rita is the studio founder/owner and provides training and teaching to photographers nationwide and especially the non-professional parents who wish to improve their family documenting through improving their portraits at home.
